The Internet is now ubiquitous. This presents both challenges and opportunities for businesses today. I work with companies in both an advisory or longer-term contract basis helping them to navigate through this ever-changing online marketplace.

Based in Gibraltar with PokerStrategy.com, I have been deeply involved in the Internet industry for over twelve years. I have deep experience in helping enterprises devise and implement their e-commerce, online marketing and social media strategies. In both FBD Insurance and Vhi Healthcare I was responsible for establishing web channel distribution and consumer engagement activities, which delivered significant sales volumes and increased customer retention.

Over the past year I have helped a number of large and mid-sized Irish companies develop concrete action plans across all aspects of doing business online in order to achieve their business goals.

I founded the Irish Internet Association’s Social Media Working Group, exploring how Irish business can use social media to support their sales, marketing, customer services and public relations objectives. In that role, I published the first official guide to business blogging in Ireland. I have also recently founded the e-Commerce Innovation Forum, a roundtable discussion forum aimed at providing a peer network for senior e-commerce professionals in the Irish marketplace.
